INA Solar to Power Up with 4.5 GW Cell Plant in Narmadapuram

INA Solar is set to establish a 4.5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, marking a significant step in expanding its production capacity and strengthening backward integration.

The new facility will be complemented by an 18,000 metric tonne aluminium frame manufacturing unit, aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and reducing reliance on external vendors. Chairman Manish Gupta said the expansion will improve operational efficiency while supporting the company’s existing 5.5 GW solar module manufacturing capacity.

INA Solar currently operates three advanced manufacturing units in Jaipur, equipped with TOPCon G12 and M10R technologies that align with global efficiency benchmarks. Since its inception in 2017 with an initial capacity of 80 MW, the company has rapidly scaled its presence in India’s renewable energy sector. Its products are certified under multiple international standards, including ISO, UL, IEC, ALMM, CE, and BIS.

The company is also contributing to key government initiatives such as PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Kusum Yojana, and Jal Jeevan Mission, promoting wider adoption of solar energy across the country.

Managing Director Vikas Jain said the company aims to play a key role in India’s target of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 through continued expansion and innovation.
